Internship at UN Volunteers in #Nepal. Location: Kathmandu, Nepal. Application Deadline: 10 September 2014. Contact period: 1 October 2014 – 31 March 2015. This internship assignment is located in the UNV Field Unit in Kathmandu. The role of the intern is to implement the corporate communications strategy, as well as provide inputs to the design, management and implementation of the Field Unit communications and publication strategies, which are geared to influence the development agenda, promote public and media outreach and mobilize political and financial support for UNV. The Intern will work under the direct supervision of the Programme Officer. Applicants are not required to have professional work experience for participation in the program, but are encouraged to list all relevant work experience in their application; Applicants must demonstrate a keen interest in the work of the United Nations and have a personal commitment to the ideals of the UN Chart.
