Interview Update: For the most part you all know I was nervous because this was a first for me. Well, it all went great but here’s a funny part. I was inside Starbuck’s where we were supposed to meet at least 30 minutes early and spent a little time chatting with people about the book and interview. The place was kind of small with only about 6 or so tables and seats and the indoor crowd was small even though the store was very busy. Guess what? The Reporter was there at the same time as I was, it just took us 30 more minutes to find each other! We both had a laugh over that. Overall, everything went fine and I was nervous without reason other than just being me. He said the interview will not be the cover story but it will be the first story inside the magazine – September Issue. I still have to wait on the Photographer from the magazine for another day, which is fine by me. It was too hot for pictures today anyway. As far as I know the photos will be taken at Sim’s Library in Waxahachie, Texas. I promise to give an update when that is supposed to happen. And that is all for my crazy day. Super thankful.
