Interview of Malikapuram Melsanthi Brahmasree Kesavan Namboothiri, Cheruthala Madom, Gauri Nivas, Mavelikara Melsanthi says: Very less people from the brahmin community will get such a big post as a Melsanthi to serve Lord Ayyappa or Malikapurathamma. In such conditions I feel blessed and privileged. My father was an Ulkazhagam keezhsanthi at Ayyappa Sannidhanam during prathista time with then Melsanthi Eswaran Namboothiri. Iam the youngest among five siblings in my family and my father served at Sabarimala before I was born. This niyogam I got is completely the blessings of the lord. If seen from outside Melsanthi of Sabarimala is a great honour. I pray lord Ayyappa to give me that opportunity as well.
