Intro to Cursive, by Montessorium. This app not only introduces kids to the correct way to write cursive it also teaches children the phonics of each individual letter. Each letter is displayed on the screen and the correct way to write each letter in cursive is then shown to children. They then trace each letter in the correct style before each group of 3 letters is put together asking kids to find a letter by sounding out the phonics of that letter. Further reinforcement as kids then need to trace each letter without any hints on how to trace it. Letters can be done in both upper and lowercase. There is also the option to just choose any letter instead of the set ones that are in each group. If your child needs work on a particular letter or letters then this is a great option. There is also a wonderful free play where kids get to draw in the sandbox. They can use this to try writing their name of if they tap on the button a letter will briefly appear and see if your kids can write it once it disappears again.
