Introducing my first venture into Copper Jewelry. My Dad swore by the copper bracelet he wore because copper is essential to the proper functioning of organs and metabolic processes, and is more easily absorbed through the skin than through diet. This absorption happens when chelates (SOD) form as copper jewellery is exposed to human skin, and can often form a greenish hue. It does not mean the materials are impure or contain nickel. The greenish mark is easily removed with regular soap and water or lemon juice. I use 99.9 % pure copper. No chemicals are used to acheive the patina it is the result of naturally oxidizing the copper by using the sulfur in hard boiled eggs.
