Invitation to write a guest post -- Literature Studio will be launching its blog in January 2014, and will be publishing once a week. Apart from articles by our in-house writers and editors, we will also be publishing select reviews and literary articles by guests once a month. Consider this as an invitation to write a blog post for us. -- a book review for a classic. You can choose any classic, though we would really like to know what you thought of As I lay dying (details given below). The review should be around 500 - 700 words. We will be selecting and publishing the review that we consider the most complete and most enlightening. If your review is published, you will be awarded a Flipkart gift voucher worth Rs. 750. More about the author and the book: The author of this book, William Faulkner, won the nobel prize in literature in 1949, and is considered to be one of the most important writers in American Literature. This particular novel follows The Stream of Consciousness style of literary writing and follows an interesting story line. A movie based on this book and with the same name was released in October, 2013. PS - We will soon be launching a fiction and poetry section too, so watch out for that announcement.
