Iran nuclear talks to reconvene in Vienna next week – EU The top diplomats of Iran, the European Union and the USA will hold the next round of multilateral and bilateral nuclear talks in the Austrian capital next week, Reuters reported on Wednesday. EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton is to meet Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on October 14, and the next day they will be accompanied by US Secretary of State John Kerry, a EU statement said. It comes nearly 1.5 months before a deadline for a deal that is supposed to end the seven states’ dispute over Irans nuclear program that started this winter. Hate preachers would now be “red-carded” during the visa process, the prime minister said, Reuters reported. The new policy will not require new legislation, Abbott said. What we want to do is to ensure that known preachers of hate do not come to this country to peddle their divisive extremist message, Abbott told journalists in Sydney. Up to 160 Australian citizens have been either involved in jihadist fighting in the Middle East, or actively supporting groups fighting there. At least 20 are considered to have come back to Australia and allegedly pose a security risk.
