Though some say they are safe and arrived in Erbil I got from very reliable sources the opposite information: 12.000 people who fled from Maxmur are now stranded in the desert in Rania and need urgently help! There situation is reported to be as urgent as for the people in the Sinjar Mountains. 2. Another massacre against Êzidî is feared: IS has announced an ultimatum (which will end today) towards 4.000 Êzidî families to convert to Islam or get killed. This threat is made against the inhabitants of Hatimiya, Tel Kucho and Tel Qasab, 24km South of Shingal. The villages are surrounded by IS and they do not allow the Êzidî to flee. 3. The Iraqi Red Crescent Society claims that IS has deported around 100 Christian and Êzidî families to the Tal Afar Airport west of Mosul. There they killed all male people and brought the women to an unknown place with the aim of selling them as slaves. This citation is from Assistant Secretary General from the Iraqi Red Crescent.
