Iroha Solomon: Dont ever take calm and silent people for granted! Just imagine how GEJ, whove in the past, be seen as weak is destabilizing all his opponents! There was a time he didnt have peace in PDP, his government, the national assembly etc and apc was happily behind all. He kept mute and they called him all sorts of names from nincompoop to clueless to weak; name them. He never raised a finger nor a voice. All Toms,Dicks and Harrys called him whatever they liked. Nyako wrote all sorts of things and leveling all sorts of accusations against him.... His wife and family were daily being assaulted by all sorts of verbal attacks. Amechi did all to spite him. Sanusi raised a very inciting alarm though false. He even challenged the president of lacking the powers to remove him.. But today, all his enemies are getting it in double dose. Apc lost ekiti, theyve lost adamawa through impeachment. Nasarawa is on its way , the governor has been served an impeachment notice. Imo might likely boil anytime, even if it doesnt, Rochas wouldnt retain his seat. Note: Boil I mean here is about impeachment threats and defections, not conflict. If youre in lagos, youll know that people aint happy with the style of governance of apc here, forget media propaganda! I used to think like you when I never knew. Rivers is not an exception......... and so on! These might not be the best way to practise democracy, neither is it the best; but I think that, these people turned this man this way. He wanted to play gentle, they called him all sorts of names -even to the extent of frustrating governance for him by blocking the passage of the budget. They threatened to impeach him........but today, theyre getting it back! He went to Imo, he was insulted by being swept out of the state. He went to ekiti, same thing! That of ekiti has paid its price, Imo awaits! I think, the simple lesson from all of these is: Respect is reciprocal; those who live in glass house must not throw stone and; he who comes to equity must come with clean hands! Dont take one for granted because he doesnt fight you when you fight him... Dont look down on someone because he takes your insults with smiles... Dont undermine the ability of a man who, deliberately or otherwise, chooses to be humble. Respect others so as to be respected! Respect someone because hes in position to be respected not because you dont feel that he deserves it. Calm people are dangerous, dont take their silence to be foolishness!!!
