He declared and I will paraphrase. I will give the SLP 90 days to revoke VAT well 90 days has come and gone, not a whimper from Allen and the new UWP, no nation address, myself like many others thought there would have been a call to action for the masses to demonstrate and levy crippling actions by the masses to revoke the VAT. All I heard at the recent Flatbush meeting from Allen himself is that there is little he can do to reverse the crippling sanctions that vat has placed on the people, that he is talking to the different UNIONS . There is a saying that after a lot is said and done MORE IS SAID THAN DONE. In other words talk talk and more talk until the elections hoping that UWP WILL WIN. If that is the case then vat will be and is the status quo there is no relief in sight for us Saint Lucians. One of the TENENTS of the NEW UWP IS TO HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE well Allen the 90 days have come and gone tell the nation whats your action plan or has this Vern your first test your first failure as leader of the UWP a DO NOTHING LEADER because talk alone wont and cant feed an empty belly and empty bellies wont have the strength to wait until 2016 to go vote for the UWP.
