Is Israel really a friend to the United States? Jonathan Cook, journalist and Justin Raimondo at Antiwar are reporting on the hugely suppressed but growing indicators that Israeli intelligence knew of the 9/11 attacks but failed to alert the Americans. Fox News even reported on this back in 2001, but days after the program ran, it was removed from their website. From the report: There is no indication that the Israelis were involved in the 9-11 attacks, but investigators suspect that the Israelis may have gathered intelligence about the attacks in advance, and not shared it. A highly placed investigator said there are tie-ins. But when asked for details, he flatly refused to describe them, saying, evidence linking these Israelis to 9-11 is classified. President George W. Bush censored 28 pages of this report—an entire section said to describe the involvement of specific foreign governments in the attacks. After reading it, Congressman Thomas Massie described the experience as disturbing and said, I had to stop every two or three pages and rearrange my perception of history… its that fundamental. In the interest of achieving justice for victims and preventing future attacks, knowledge of foreign government involvement in 9/11 must be shared with the American people…and with the world.
