Is Mahama Ayariga serious? Ah! We have been able to avoid Ebola largely by the Grace of God and not because we have been able to institute some rigorous measures at our borders and points of entry. And now with a piling up of issues and problems this is the time you want us to host what? We refused to allow the Sierra Leone team to play here because of Ebola. But now within weeks we are ready to host 15 other teams and thousands of supporters? Hasnt the Ghana Medical Association warned against this? Is a Commission not sitting at this time on the way we run football? Shouldnt we wait for the Commission to finish its work before we do anything that will involve state funds in football? Tell you what, because this will be done in a rush, there will be justification not to follow any procurement procedure and to use cronies and all. Ah! Whats wrong with us? I dont get it. Menti asi! Meanwhile the President is reminding us that Ebola is killing thousands and is calling on our soldiers to help in the Ebola fight. And our Sports Minister says Ghana is ready to host the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations. Morocco says no. South Africa says no. Why cant CAF go to Sudan and Egypt who want it? Chale No to AFCON 2015 in Ghana. In fact, the Africa Cup of Nations should be shelved until Ebola is controlled.
