Is anyone else who has a computer with Windows 8.1 having issues with Google Chrome running extremely slow, freezing or failing to respond? I ask because, for over a week now, my wife and I have been having these issues but, no one can seem to figure out why. Time Warner says everything is fine with out internet and Best Buy Geek Squad and HP Customer Support can find nothing even though they have had remote control of the computers several times and seen the issues occur. Internet Explorer runs just fine but, I hate Explorer because of the way it downloads, the constant pop ups and so forth. I want my Chrome back and I dont know how to get the problem fixed when everyone is pointing the finger at everyone else. Geek Squad/HP Support blame the Internet Provider, Time Warner blames the computer and therefore, Geek Squad. The whole situation makes no sense and I am beyond frustrated considering the fact these computers are less that 3 months old and cost a small fortune, supposedly one of the more top of the line HP laptop computers available. Anyone know anything that can help? I have reset the computer to factory settings 3 times, once on my wifes and tried to avoid updating because that seems to be linked to the issue but it is still all screwed up.
