Is anyone here a sports physical/medical therapist or hand specialist? Son jammed his finger on rim during basketball practice and now has a bulge in palm of hand and cant bend top of index finger? Took to hand specialist and was told tendon ruptured and collapsed in hand. I dont know how they know this without additional x-ray or further testing but FIRST thing out of mouth was SURGERY! Only looked at x-rays from referring emergency medical doctor. And talking about he will be out for rest of the season. Just wanted to know of any other possible remedies before I get SECOND opinion. And recommendations for 2nd opinion. Devil is a LIAR. Praying for COMPLETE healing.
