Is completely overwhelmed with grief and shock for our family. We have said goodbye to many wonderful grandparents in a relatively short time. I thought I knew what heartbreak was until now. I truly thought we had another 10 years with Grandma. My last grandparent. Gungi, Gram, Great-grandma Dorothy, Grandma Bartel, Bob(Derek’s dad), Auntie Eve, Auntie Lorraine, Grandpa and now Grandma Jeanne at Heaven’s gate. Death does not scare me- my faith and belief is strong and I know with all my heart they are well again. My grief is heavy for the loved ones left behind whose everyday lives have been altered forever…forced to change their daily routines…struggling to find happiness and comfort …knowing we need to be grateful for what we have had and for what we have still. To my family…know that my love for you all is unconditional…we are all so different yet we share many qualities. Qualities we are all proud of. All the Berrow’s and Thomas’s know Grandma was a fighter. I’m proud to say I’m a fighter too (aren’t we all )…we can all fight through this together…
