Is it REALLY Sunday Cook-Up time again! The week before a holiday - TopicsExpress

Is it REALLY Sunday Cook-Up time again! The week before a holiday can feel a bit too full and a bit too rushed. And yet, that makes having ready-to-go real food all the more important. This time of year, we keep it simple (and advise our Alchemist Eating clients to do the same). That complicated grain-free paleo eggnog pumpkin pie? Umm, saving it for holiday dinner. Meanwhile, todays prepping & cooking will feature easy, familiar standbys to see us through 4-5 lunches & dinners. Everythings paleo-primal...including some vegetarian dishes too! This Sundays Lineup: grassfed burgers on lettuce (so much flavor...so little work); chipotle pork burgers on lettuce (from my favorite cookbook--Well Fed 2--which has an entire section on Burgers, Balls & Bangers); carrot-apple soup; apple-fennel-onion soup (having 1-2 simple soups on hand makes an amazing difference come mealtime); oven-roasted carrots, garlic & mushrooms (easiest dish ever--veggies in coconut oil in a baking dish on 400--bam); sliced raw veggies; hardboiled eggs; dark-chocolate with berries & local honey for dessert...though that grain-free cast-iron skillet banana bread recipe is calling my name... alchemistclinic/customized-eating-planning/ #primal #paleo #realfood #alchemisteating
