Is it a coincidence that the day after the release of the newest disaffection letter from the Charnys that I have received a disconnection ultimatum/notice? Dear Karla, I ran into your sister the other day and it came to my attention that you are still connected to people who are declared and are publicly speaking against the Church of Scientology. While I know and agree that you have kept your agreement with me to not discuss such things it weighs on me for this reason: I help hundreds of people a year using Standard Scientology technology. The results have been people surviving better, happier relationships, healthier and happier individuals who are in better communication with others and who then do help others more effectively themselves. For me to be connected to people who would discourage others from this, for me personally is a sin and is counter to my personal survival, the survival of my family and also counter to the people who truly wish to be helped by being given the idea that they should stay away from Scientology. For friendship sake I will ask you to please consider the benefits and gains a person could achieve and would be denied by listening to such criticisms of the Church and to please choose to disconnect from such associations. I will be withdrawing my communications until such time as you do so. Do know that if you choose to disconnect from these people then you should feel free if you need and want it to request from HCO that I be allowed to help you with a program. I have not forgotten, nor ever will forget your care and help to me. Should you prove that you are not working against my personal goals and purposes I am happy to help you. Sincerely and with care, Diane Dear Diane, thank you for at least not disconnecting from me before I had a chance to get you to communicate to Moriah the value of cannabis oil for me, which she is now using to save her daughters life. I never would have known of her situation had it not been for seeing her updates from your posts. I look forward to the day that you and my sister and all Scientologists who follow this practice of disconnection wake up and realize that it is creating the very enemies you think you are protecting yourselves from. We of the Church believe...That all men have inalienable rights to think freely, to talk freely, to write freely their own opinions and to counter or utter or write upon the opinions of others. The above statement seems to communicate that Scientologists believe in free speech, but the practice of disconnection from those who exercise their right to utter disagreements is a contradiction. You arent thinking for yourself either if you are shutting out opposing viewpoints so you wont have to consider them. Thank God Moriah didnt do that. I will not disconnect from anyone in order to please others.
