Is it auto-correct that does it or do people really think definitely is spelled defiantly? There are three posts in my newsfeed today where people use defiantly when the context calls for definitely. And its DEFINITELY not the first time Ive seen this either, I would like to point out somewhat DEFIANTLY to anyone who thinks its a new one or Im making it up. Not having a go though, boys and girls, Im genuinely curious as to where the phenomenon comes from.
