Is it not unfortunate that our External Affair Minister, Sushma Swaraj is making all efforts to declare the Gita as a National Book? Well, it may be accepted by a section of Hindu citizens and particularly by right wing group. In fact this horrific move would not be even supported by most of the Secular Hindus. This is simply violation of our Fundamental Rights. Being, a Muslim I will never ever accept the Gita as a National Book. India is a Secular state and its citizens are being taught to respect every religion rather than being forced to accept every religion as their faith. India is a secular country and I wish and home it will remain so. You cannot make this great country as a Hindu nation. Moreover, I am aware with the fact that there are many cabinet ministers whose identities lies in RSS and VHP ideologies. They will do everything in the name of HINDUTVA and a best example is our Prime Minister itself.
