Is it ok to steal graffiti and then sell it to profit? I ask this question because this is what a gallery did with a Banksy piece from our infamous Packard Plant. What gave them the right to dismantle the wall where the graffiti had been painted? That in itself is disgusting, but they claimed it was to preserve the piece. Now theyre trying to sell it to raise money for their gallery. This place disgusts me, I can only guess its a bunch of suburbanites that have no concern for the city and the people here - that work BELONGS to Detroit - they had no right to steal it in the first place, much less sell it.
