Is it sweeps week on my soap?! :-S Had to politely serve perhaps my smarmiest ex on the planet (it is neck and neck) a couple days ago and then...this aft a long-former bestie (who used to tell me I was more like a brother to him than his own brother before randomly and utterly knifing me in the back eight years ago over something not even vaguely worth knifing a friend over), randomly messages me to try and reconnect...as if nothing ever happened because, you know...time erases all deep betrayal, right? Tells me how happy and amazing his life is now and says hes sooo glad just to have a dialogue with me again...right up until I was silly enough to be honest, in a calm, reasoned way, about how his toxic behaviour actually made me feel back in the day. Immediately got back a viciously snarky and defensive response about what a terrible person I am (for not just pretending, I guess?), and then found myself immediately blocked so I couldnt reply!!! LMAO :-D Thanks for the dialogue, old friend...LOL Also thanks for proving my point perfectly about how little youve changed in eight years...and mostly thank FB for small favours like toxic people blocking me first instead of the usual other way around!! WIN!!! :-D xox P.S. Before you join him in thinking Im some kind of unforgiving jackass, Im FB friends with one of my childhood bullies of 7 years and someone who tried to drown me once, so I have all kinds of forgiveness colours when its actually warranted. (# 3 thru 8, 12, 15, 18 & 20...for sure!)
