Is it the case of the human mind being indeed fallible or a case - TopicsExpress

Is it the case of the human mind being indeed fallible or a case of voluntary sinners of their own memory ? In 2012, after the law of succession class, we had a general discussion about culture, life and family background. During this discussion, I was asked a question by Montanna as to whether my father was stealing or what is he doing for a living and what is the level of education of my parents. I responded to this and sought to find out from her as to why this is so and the response that she and Sade gave was that it is because their parents were troubled by CTI fees and they imagined the difficulty that a black family would be confronted with given the inequalities of income in our society. Montanna even gave an account of her family helper earning a little salary but having the ability to send her child to a former model c school. However, two years later, they vehemently deny that ours is a country of two nations, and to employ President Mbekis words, One of these nations is white, relatively prosperous, regardless of gender or geographic dispersal. It has ready access to a developed economic, physical, educational, communication and other infrastructure. This enables it to argue that, except for the persistence of gender discrimination against women, all members of this nation have the possibility to exercise their right to equal opportunity, the development opportunities to which the Constitution of 93 committed our country. The second and larger nation of South Africa is black and poor, with the worst affected being women in the rural areas, the black rural population in general and the disabled. This nation lives under conditions of a grossly underdeveloped economic, physical, educational, communication and other infrastructure. It has virtually no possibility to exercise what in reality amounts to a theoretical right to equal opportunity, with that right being equal within this black nation only to the extent that it is equally incapable of realisation. This reality of two nations, underwritten by the perpetuation of the racial, gender and spatial disparities born of a very long period of colonial and apartheid white minority domination, constitutes the material base which reinforces the notion that, indeed, we are not one nation, but two nations.
