Is it true that Jawaharlals grandfather and Motilal Nehrus father - TopicsExpress

Is it true that Jawaharlals grandfather and Motilal Nehrus father was a Muslim named Giasuddin Gazi? He changed his name to Gangadhar Nehru to escape arrest and sentence from British armies. Giasuddin Gazi was a notorious Mughal army commander, soldier and lawyer famous for killing Hindus (later he became Kotwal of Delhi under the name Gangadhar). When British was chasing dangerous people loyal to Mughal dynasty, this Giasuddin Gazi took a Hindu name added a Persian word Nehr (which means Canal, in English, or Nalah, in Assamese-Bengali) with a suffix oo (Nehroo-->Nehru) as his surname. He told the British that this surname was of Kashmiri Brahmins. Thus Giasuddin Gazi, the great Hindu killer, became a Kashmiri Brahmin disguised under the name Gangadhar Nehru. Nehru is not a title of Kashmiri Hindus. You will not find a single Kashmiri Hindu with that surname. It is certain that the Nehru dynasty is rooted on this Gangadhar Nehru (i.e., Giasuddin Gazi). If you study some history to find more about this character Gangadhar Nehru, you will get surprising details. The new generation must know the truth about this Mughal dynasty in disguise.
