Is that present for ME???!!!! I can remember growing up and celebration Christmas at both Grandparents houses. I was blessed to grow up in High Point next to my Mamma Sibby and Pap (Moms parents). We was able to see them and my cousins on a daily basis. My Dads Mom, Maw Phillips, lived in the city so we would see her once a week. Holidays at her house meant getting to see cousins I only got to see a few times a year. Of course, as a child presents brought excitement. Which gift under the tree was mine? Could I shake it? Would it break? Often times there would be one bigger than the others and oh how exciting it was to see MY name on that gift! Years have come and gone...I remember a few presents but....now....its the memories of spending time with my loved ones that I cherish the most. Over the years, I have come to realize that the greatest gift of all isnt wrapped and under our Christmas tree. No, this gift isnt just mine. It belongs to all. No one else can pick it up and hand it to us and say......look, this is yours....open it!. Others can show it to us.....but we must receive it ourself. This gift didnt enter the world by being born in a hospital. His entrance into this life was very humble ... even though He is a King. Is that present for ME? Yes, yes it is......Jesus is your gift. Praying you open this gift and allow Him to be the center of your life. Dont keep Him wrapped in swaddling clothes.....let Him grow in your life and heart.
