Is the Technical Working Committee set by the Vice President - TopicsExpress

Is the Technical Working Committee set by the Vice President saying that 60% increment is enough to cover cost of electricity generation? Should Ghanaians wait for any reduction by their report? I accept to some extent that sacrifices need to be made to sustain these utility companies. However, the near 80% increment in electricity and 52% in water is astronomical given the paltry 10% increment in salaries of public sector workers. Poor farmer and other informal sector workers will bear the brunt of this hardship as business in general is slow in the country and farm produce in particular has not seen any good prices inspite of high cost of production. It is painful that poor consumers will pay for wastage and crass corruption by these utility companies.
