To HELP PHILIPPINES: *UPDATED* This is open to everyone. Canadian Dance Factory is open on Sunday from 11 AM to Midnight. We will be taking any donations from anyone. Boxes will be sent as soon as we pack it. Heres the list of what would help to start the victims of this Typhoon: Used Clothes (Any size, any type, it will be sorted out) Used Blankets Canned Goods Cup Noodles & Noodles Candles and Matches Any ready to eat goods/snacks that are high in protein Shoes, Slippers, or any footwear Toothpaste, Toothbrush, Soap, Shampoo, Hygienic stuff Generic Medicine ** Our main focus is food and medicine ** ** If giving used clothes, please give only usable ones ** We are also taking cash donations, no deductible. 100% going straight to the victims of this Typhoon. These boxes will be sent door to door to a trusted team who will deliver it to the affected cities. Thank you everyone The Story: November 8, 2013. A super typhoon hit the Philippines. Many provinces and cities were damaged, badly. The death count is getting higher and higher... From drowning, electrocuted, stomped on, and more.. 1,700 death in one city... 1000+ in another... and more and more... Every one that was affected are homeless. All their homes, schools, work, are wiped from the blasting wind and flood. They are all starving and cold. Several days after, a 4.8 magnitude hit another part of the Philippines, leaving more homeless and death. Then today, another storm is approaching another side. Some people are questioning where God is, some lost faith. The country is in panic. WE have the chance to help and reach out, WE are alive and well. Some people have messaged me about what to and what not to send because they saw an article about the Tsunami in Japan. Please keep in mind that we have volunteers who will sort everything out family by family and none of our donations will be just laid on the ground and let people choose. We are focusing on food and medicine. Every cash donation will help and add on to our donations. Boxes will be sent directly to a volunteer team in the Philippines. To the Government of the Philippines: USE YOUR FUNDS, STOP HOLDING IT! STOP TAKING CUTS! BEFORE ALL COUNTRIES HELP, SHOW THAT OUR GOVERNMENT CAN HELP FIRST!
