I believe Congress should Cut and simplify taxes: Congress should implement a more simplified, fairer tax code that lowers tax rates across the board for all working Americans and small businesses. Slash red tape: It’s time to cut through all the red tape and allow entrepreneurs and mom-and-pop enterprises to flourish. Cut frivolous spending and eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse: Washington must tighten its belt and cut frivolous spending while rolling back outdated and duplicative government programs. Plainly stated, it’s time for the government to live within its means – and start paying down the $17 trillion of debt that we’ve racked up. Restore limited, constitutional government: The only way to ensure taxes remain low in the long term is to limit the size and scope of government. That means we have to get back to our Founders’ vision for America, as outlined in the United States Constitution.
