Is there really a Tree of Life? Yes, in fact there are TWO TREES, - TopicsExpress

Is there really a Tree of Life? Yes, in fact there are TWO TREES, a Tree of Life for spirit to live forever and Tree of Knowledge to know physical death. And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the Tree of Life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. (Gen 2:9) Proverbs 3:18 She is a Tree of Life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her. Comparing to Proverbs 3:13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. Proverbs 11:30 states that the Fruit of the Righteous is a Tree of Life. This can also be compared to Salvation. In Proverbs 13:12 a longing fulfilled is a Tree of Life. Proverbs 15:4 makes the comparison of a Tree of Life to a healing tongue. The purpose of the Tree of Life was to literally keep the physical body alive forever. It was intended only for those who are spiritually one with God. This proves Adam did not have an immortal body as yet. Adam was spiritually separated from God because he had eaten of the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil. And this is why God went to such great lengths to keep Adam from the Tree of Life after he had sinned and locked him out of the Garden posting the cherubim with the flaming sword to block the way. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the Tree of Life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. (Rev 2:7) And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the Tree of Life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: (Rev 22:1-3) Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the Tree of Life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. (Rev 22:14) By believing the lie of the Father of Lies, the serpent, be as gods, knowing good and evil” like your creator exposed sin that killed Adam’s spirit. Not eating of the Tree of Life killed his body. Two totally separate deaths. Is it possible one was a sin of commission and one was a sin of omission? The Creator gave man free will and two trees but only one command and that was not to eat of the Tree of Knowledge. Physical death is a natural part of our universe. All living matter eventually dies. What was intended is man to eat of the Tree of Life and live forever and never touch the other tree. Without the tree of knowledge of good and evil, Adam would never have seen his physical death coming as a result of not eating of the Tree of Life. One day he would simply just wake up dead. His spirit would have been alive with God, while his body would have been a lifeless shell. Just the same as happens to believers today when they die. The picture in this post is a 2,000 year old tree in South Africa that they call The Tree of Life. The boabab tree. Some hollowed out trunks have been used to provide shelter to as many as 40 people, it can hold up to 4,500 liters of water, fibers from the bark can be turned into rope and cloth and fresh leaves are often eaten to boost the immune system. The medicinal properties of the boabab fruit are amaze balls: 3 times as much Vitamin C as an orange , 50% more Calcium than spinach, and it has a plentiful source of antioxidants which are disease fighting molecules credited with helping reduce the risk of cancer and heart disease.
