Is this the kind of stuff we are going to read from a columnist in a respected and venerated daily like SUNSTAR his encounter or maybe the start of another conquest for him of the accused in the slaying of a child several years ago. I am referring to the aging con man and poor copycat of casanova BOBBY NALZARO who bores us to death of his conversation with BELLA RUBY. Although i quite understand his interest in trying to project her innocence since it was his paisano and drinking buddy ERROR DIGAL who botched the investigation in his selfish quest for the limelight. The meat of the case against BELLA RUBY relied solely on the eyewitness accounts of three schoolkids who saw a white man and a filipina invite the slain child to board the car they were riding in. Of course the judge was right to dismiss the case because the childrens testimony was already unreliable and you know why? Well because of DIGALS haste to grab the credit of solving a major crime. Remember that a cartographic sketch had been made based on those childrens testimony and those sketches were posted in the airport and seaports of Cebu. It just so happened that a norwegian together with his cebuana girlfriend were about to board a plane for hongkong for a brief vacation and unfortunately he resembled the drawing on the sketch so they were prevented from leaving and taken into custody. Do you know what DIGAL did in learning that a foreigner and a cebuana were held on suspicion that they were the killers of that child? He brought the eyewitnesses which were the children to look at the couple and confirm that indeed they were the ones who invited the slain child to ride with them. Knowing that children sometimes get confused especially in identifying foreigners whom they normally dont see everyday prudence should have dictated that a line up should have been made and the children made to pick out the suspects. Thats the reason why DIGAL kept under wraps the presence of the surveillance tape of waterfront lahug because it clearly demolished whatever suspicions there were that indeed the norwegian and his girl were the killers. It took GWEN to ask the NBI to come into the case and eventually clear the norwegian and his girl after they got hold of the tape. It of course enraged GWEN and rightfully after knowing DIGALS stupidity and what made it worse was his not telling GWEN about the TAPE. So GWEN asked right away for his replacement and BOBBY right away went to town blasting away at GWEN. And when the next set of suspects meaning BELLA RUBY were charged in court using the same eyewitnesses then of course as sure as day follows night the case was already doomed from the start because the judge just couldnt believe the eyewitnesses had identified the real killers beyond a shadow of a doubt. I know all of this because i had the privilege of listening to GWENS side in the midst of BOBBY MANIACS incessant attacks against her. With that finished a piece of advice to BELLA RUBY if she still wants her beauty parlors turning in a neat profit. Steer clear of wolves wearing sheeps clothing especially if theyre named BOBBY whose almost a senior citizen and is connected with media
