Is this too hard to comprehend? If you are going to fight, go in and fight. Overwhelm the enemy with massive, insurmountable force. ELIMINATE the enemy in a Machiavellian thrust and be done with it. No one wins a war by exchanging comments, intentions, desires, tactical pea shooter attacks etc. One only wins be eliminating the opponents will and ability to continue the fight. We did not defeat the Nazi hordes by sending in the 82nd AB or the 101st or the Navy seals to rough them up. We mobilized our entire country. Both military and commercial assets to rage violent war upon them until they were no more. They have never risen again or mutated into another real threat. Any squeek that such a thing might occur is met with a swift and sure strike to ensure the situation is never contemplated again. Seems easy enough to understand to me. But then I am a soldier and not a politician, I guess they really know what is best for the country, Right?
