Is your glass half full or half empty?? Weve heard it said that their are two different perspectives, Some see the glass half full, Some see it half empty. I say there could be a third, The one who says give me the Glass Im thirsty. LoL This third perspective doesnt see the glass, it only sees whats within. So this third perspective (Im going to Coin the phrase) sees a Half Glass Full. Forbes says that research has shown that positive, half glass full people, are happier,healthier and wealthier. Forbes also said expecting good things to happen will lead to actions that produce good results. This sounds like a translation of: James 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. James 2:18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. 19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Happiness? Most people believe that in order to be happy you first need peace. God gives peace in the midst of raging War. Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Some people believe you need happy circumstances to have joy. John 16:22 22 And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you. John 16:24 24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. John 16:33 33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. Health? God gives health and even healing according to his Will. Proverbs 17:22 - A merry heart doeth good [like] a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones. Jeremiah 33:6 - Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth. James 5:15 - And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Wealth? Philippians 4:19 - But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. When I started writing this I didnt have a fourth perspective but I do now. There is The Glass thats running over! Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Make Jesus Lord of your life today. Stop focusing on the empty. Focus on what is in the Cup. Without Jesus your cup is empty, dry as bones. You will Die! With Jesus, you will drink from a cup that will never run dry. You will Live. You Must Choose! There is no in between. Only live or die. Much Love Tank
