Isaiah 10:20 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth. In todays verse, Israel had been in Babylonian captivity, and had been at the mercy of the Assyrians. God is telling them not to look for mercy from the Assyrians, but to look to Him! He was the TRUE GOD! He alone held their deliverance and destiny in His hands. We are so like the Israelites. Every day we bow to the electronic idols, the secular scholars, and the wisdom of the worldly. We can become so caught up with self-achievement that we forget that mercy and deliverance belong to the God of TRUTH in the Bible. May YOU examine YOUR life and worship the HOLY ONE of TRUTH!
