Isaiah 40 Amplified Bible 25 To whom then will you liken Me, that I should be equal to him? says the Holy One. 26 Lift up your eyes on high and see! Who has created these? He Who brings out their host by number and calls them all by name; through the greatness of His might and because He is strong in power, not one is missing or lacks anything. These things were created through is power (another word for energy). He has self-existence or immortality, the ability to generate endless energy without burning fuel to make the energy (zero point energy). He granted this power and ability to his Son whom he sent down from earth, once he proved faithful to his assignment. Thus, Jesus was exalted over the angels and given a name (and powers) more excellent than theirs. John 5 Amp. 26 For even as the Father has life in Himself and is self-existent, so He has given to the Son to have life in Himself and be self-existent. 27 And He has given Him authority and granted Him power to execute (exercise, practice) judgment because He is [d]a Son of man [very man]. 1 Timothy 6 14 To keep all His precepts unsullied and flawless, irreproachable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Anointed One), 15 Which [appearing] will be shown forth in His own proper time by the blessed, only Sovereign (Ruler), the King of kings and the Lord of lords, 16 Who alone has immortality [in the sense of exemption from every kind of death] and lives in unapproachable light, Whom no man has ever seen or can see. Unto Him be honor and everlasting power and dominion. Amen (so be it). Immortality is also promised to those who go to heaven to rule with Christ as a jury of mankinds peers. 1 Corinthians 15:50-53, Revelation 20:4-6, 1 Corinthians 6:2, 3. An immortal cannot die, does not eat, need a house, does not marry, etc. They are incorruptable....cannot be bribed, cannot be overthrown, cannot fail: thus they are perfect judges, kings, priests for Jehovah God to trust with rulership of the material universe.
