Ish just got real! Be smart and stay safe. This is hitting way to close to home. The Eastern New Mexico University Police Departments wants to remind all students, faculty and staff of solicitors on campus and off campus. We have recently had reports of individual(s) of potential foreign decent attempting to sell children’s books around our campus community and in Roosevelt County. The individual(s) have been attempting to obtain information about children in the area which may be for the purpose of human trafficking or abduction. Please be vigilant and do not give any information to these individuals about your children or children in your residential area. If anyone comes to your door to solicit in such a manner please do not let them in your residence and call 911 immediately. We appreciate your cooperation and vigilance with this matter. Please do not let this go unreported. If you see something! Say something and report it! You might very well be saving a life.
