Isla is officially three months off treatment and to use Dr Nics words her blood counts are looking beautiful . He couldnt be happier with her progress. Since finishing up her treatment protocol weve had a few ups and downs, all expected and normal after years of poisoning her little body. She took a while to readjust to life without chemo and had some major mood swings, disorientation, sleep disturbances, blurry vision and a horrible rash that looks to be finally clearing up. All in all life is getting back to our new normal. The girls are getting excited about a few major changes around here with a new baby brother or sister due in May and plans to relocate closer to family in the country looking like becoming a reality. We are looking forward to a fresh start. Although we have been wanting to add to our family for quite a while now we were stoked to find out I was pregnant the month Isla ended treatment. To me this says its time for new beginnings and the opportunity to make many more happy memories together :) Thanks for following Islas journey and all the support we have received along the way x
