Isla slept through her stem cell transplant today with no reactions 😊 unfortunately though they detected a virus in her system during routine screening so she is back in isolation and on antibiotics. Poor little chick has spent all but the first and last round of induction chemo in isolation. Having your own room might seem great but it makes the days long and she cant leave her room to go outside or see the fish in the tank which she loves. She seems quiet happy at the moment but is starting to look very pale and as her counts are dropping will probably have blood tomorrow. By Friday she will be a very different little girl and I am not looking forward to seeing her feeling so terrible 😔
