Islam is a religion for people striving to be governed by intellect and emotion (intuition) working together under Infallible Divine Guidance In A Divinely Guided Harmonious State of Spiritual/Carnal Equilibrium. As Muslims We’re taught that human hearts can, potentially, reflect on, and feel The Presence of God. This God Conscious Sixth Sense, which we call thikr, is coupled with analytical thought (fikr), both being a power of intellect (aql). When balanced, and married by faith in The Creator Of The Universe, and His Final Prophet Messenger, transcendental thought (thikr) and analytical thought (fikr) empowers the human intellect (aql) to glean meaning from The Divinely Revealed Clear Signs, Rules, and Metaphors within Holy Scripture, as they apply to individual life circumstances revealed by each sunrise. Then The Virtue of Faith, trust in these signs (Iman), moves us to act on God’s Divine Guidance. Thus, human intellect, and intuition, when so balanced, has the potential to raise a person’s character to near perfect morally correct behavior or thinking; righteousness, which I define and translate in Arabic as “Ihsan.” Surely God Teaches The Humans What Human Creatures Can’t Possibly Know Without Divine Intervention (Quran 96:5). (Salawat). Thus, the human psyche can levitate to, and maintain a (more or less) high degree of transcendental consciousness while socializing, working, learning, playing, making love, making war, and (or) peacemaking. I see Islam as a continual revolution of consciousness, conscience, and behavior... a marriage of intellect and intuition revolving around Divine Guidance, while rotating towards an ever dawning quest for further God Conscious Enlightenment.
