Isnt it interesting that when we have thoughts go through our brain like: Im so stupid, Im ugly, Im boring, Im never going any place, No one likes me, I cant ever get anything right, I could never get that job, we agree with every thought. But when we think, Im awesome, Im beautiful, I did a great job with that, I have a great job, I have awesome friends, I got that right, we throw it out the window. We think, thats too boastful. I need to squelch that. Did you ever stop to consider that maybe, just maybe those were Gods thoughts? Maybe thats the way God sees you! Maybe He sees the gold inside of you that you refuse to acknowledge. Because you do have gold inside. I know because God puts a little inside every person. The problem is we cover it up with so much muck and mire, its sometimes difficult for it to shine though. Clean off the grime and youll discover it was there all the time. Go ahead and polish it. Its your day to shine!
