Isn’t it funny how school superintendents, teachers and local - TopicsExpress

Isn’t it funny how school superintendents, teachers and local leaders can come together to discuss the way a child’s hair is fixed (i.e., color of hair, hair style (dreadlocks and braids), length, etc.) but they can’t come together to discuss a plan on how to prevent bullying in the school. A school official is the first line to help stop it or inform senior people of the situation. More could be done in our schools to help a child who is being bullied. If tougher laws were in place to help those that are being bullied then we would have less of a suicide rate from kids being bullied. The statistics are growing each and every day from kids committing suicide from being bullied. They are afraid to tell or talk to anyone because they know that nothing will be done. Isn’t it funny how Congress can shut the government down because they don’t like the name of a medical bill? Who cares as long as the bill does what it needs to do to help pay high medical costs. But Congress can’t come together to create a law and impose such to help protect kids from being bullied. Isn’t funny how the government can set up internet stings but they can’t find one that can help a child from being bullied. I have never been bullied but it is sad to hear and read every day that one out of every five kids commits suicide from being bullied. This is not a black or white thing it is an everybody thing. “DON’T SHUT UP SPEAK UP”. Saying something could help to save someone’s life.
