The National Weather Service In Buffalo Has Issued A Winter Storm Warning For Snow And Blowing Snow...Which Is In Effect From 7 PM This Evening To 7 PM EST Saturday. A Wind Chill Advisory Has Also Been Issued. This Wind Chill Advisory Is In Effect From Midnight Saturday Night To Noon EST Sunday. The Winter Weather Advisory Is No Longer In Effect. * Locations...Livingston...Ontario...Allegany Counties. * Timing...Early This Evening Through Late Sunday Morning. * Hazards...Snow And Significant Blowing Snow. * Accumulations...2 To 4 Inches. * Winds...Southwest 20 To 30 Mph With Gusts Up To 45 Mph. * Visibilities...Under A Quarter Mile At Times. * Wind Chill Values...As Low As 20 Below Saturday Night And Early Sunday. * Impacts...Travel Conditions Will Greatly Deteriorate With Snow Covered Roads And Possible Whiteout Conditions Due To Snow And Significant Wind Blown Snow. A Winter Storm Warning Is Issued When Severe Winter Weather Is Expected. Snow And Blowing Snow Will Cause Hazardous Driving Conditions. If You Will Be Traveling In The Warning Area You Should Choose An Alternate Route If Possible, Or You Should Use Extreme Caution If Travel Is Unavoidable. A Wind Chill Advisory Is Issued When Strong Wind Will Combine With Cold Temperatures To Create Dangerously Cold Conditions For Exposed Skin. The Wind Will Make It Feel Like It Is 15 Degrees Below Zero Or Colder For A Period Of Several Hours.
