Issued at 2014-01-23 7:20PM CST by Environment Canada: Blowing snow warning issued for: Steinbach - St. Adolphe - Dominion City - Vita - Richer, Man. Current details: Poor visibilities in snow and blowing snow this evening. Strong south to southwest winds gusting to 60 km/h with local gusts to 85 km/h along the Pembina escarpment are combining with an area of snow to produce poor visibilities over the Southern and Western Red River Valley this evening. Local whiteout conditions are possible which will make highway travel difficult over the warning area this evening. Conditions should improve later this evening and overnight as the winds diminish and the area of snow moves off. Please refer to the latest public forecasts for further details.
