It all started out so innocently on an early Sunday afternoon. We went to see our niece Sara at the Irish Fair and try her delicious Tipsy Pies. Also, my old friend John McCormick was playing as lead piper in the Brian Boru Pipe Band. My wife wanted a shot of Irish Whiskey, and we proceeded to enter the beverage tent, when the bartender asked if we wanted to have our picture taken behind the bar. We in turn took a picture of the manager and his wife. Suddenly, Jan yelled out some Swedish phrase, and I mistakenly said to a piper: What do you guys really wear under that kilt?, which prompted us to be booted out from the Jameson tent, because the pipers were irritated to hear Swedish and hear that same question again oh so many times. Thankfully, we encountered a former student of mine, Lindsay, with her dog, witnessed some amazing Irish dancers, and then retreated under a shade tree where I asked a lady if I could take a picture of them enjoying their treats. The end.
