It appears as though our new rescue dog has resource guarding issues. I thought it was just over food, but apparently it is the bed too! It looks like I am going crate shopping in the morning. Anyone have experience with this with their dogs before? Advise is welcome! Gwen was starved before she was rescued. She was found under a porch and had just had puppies, 4 out of the 8 survived. She was only 32 pounds when they found her in June and now she weighs 55 pounds. I hate to think of what she was put through and I am so happy we have her. She is very sweet and loving but has a very bad guarding issue that we are going to have to work with.
