It astounds me how so many people, who claim themselves atheists and rally against religion... 1. Are so angry with God when, he doesnt exist. 2. Are equally, if not more so, fanatical about their own beliefs. 3. Criticize the church for being condemning and hateful, then slander and spew vitriol against persons of faith. 4. Cite science, logic and reason as their basis for what they believe, yet conveniently ignore most of it when it opposes their presuppositions. 5. Condemn Christianity openly and publicly for historical atrocities, but remain silent against other faiths that have done similar - if not worst. (I.E. Islamic Sharia, Hindu Genocides, Buddhist Genocides, and even Atheistic/Naturalistic regimes itself). 6. Claim absolute value judgements and moral/ethic principles, yet wont accept that they have no credible basis for them if their own views are true. 7. Claim all religions to be the same (either in teaching, practice, or impact) without actually investigating the beliefs themselves. 8. Hold to and preach, that all religion is evil and the source of every kind of abomination in this world, yet ignore the humanitarian efforts and aide of religious organizations that seek to provide food, shelter, clothing, care, etc. to the helpless, the needy, and the underprivileged around the world. 9. Dont recognize that Atheism has, in our modern day, become its own religion. Note: This are points made in reference to specific groups of people (militant atheists, if you will). This is not a general or all-encompassing critique all Atheists or persons of other faiths.
