It can be disheartening to read of ministers wanting to push relevancy over Bible purity. Gods word has never been outdated, in the recycle bin, obsolete or old fashioned; yet many place themselves above Gods wisdom re-writing His word. He is the future before we were ever born. His ways lead us to life, blessing and peace. I am praying many will remain true to preaching the pure word concerning sin, repentance and what dire consequences there are for refusing Gods guidelines of holy and right living, which is the REAL LOVE WALK towards mankind. Sadly, there are ones who are letting the crafty one turn them into spiritual cowards over every topic rebellious people deem offensive! Before long, THE MOST VILE criminals in society will have preachers watering down the truth to fit their choices of sin...all under the auspice of youre not walking in love when you tell me my lifestyle is sin. The Bible I have says it IS walking in love to preach the pure truth and caring about people enough to try and help them avoid the consequences of sin. People may be on a journey, learning more and more about God, but the WORD of GOD is NOT ON A JOURNEY, changing for each generation who plunge deeper and deeper into sin. Gods word is steadfast, consistent, immovable...and for this we better be glad; the world and universe is held together because His word is reliable. Can you preach the truth in love, YES! But be ready, for even when you do, you will be labeled a hater. Preach on, being sold out to Christ who is not deceived about the wages of sin, and who wants people warned of satans bait of destruction. THAT IS LOVE! * All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 2 Tim. 3:16 * But this command I gave them: ‘Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people. And walk in all the way that I command you, that it may be well with you.’ Jer. 7:23 ~ In Christ, Dana Womble
