It disturbs me when people say, people should come together, especially in trying times like were in now. This sentiment may be a positive one but it is also cliche, like the words I love you have become! People should already be together, we shouldnt wait for tragedy or lives to be lost before we come together. Matter fact these tragedies probably wouldnt be happening at the magnitude they are if we were already together as people. Instead were Johnny come lately, talking about we need to come together. Then what? What if we come together, pool our resources and create positive change? Do we have the intelligence to maintain it or are we just going to disperse and go our separate ways until the next big thing? We need to get together and stay together. If we cant stay together we basically allow room for the next major tragedy to occur!
