It doesn’t escape me that some people aren’t politically involved. I’ve spent a lot of time talking to people over the past year, and there are a few who think that elections don’t matter. A few reasons why it DOES matter: It matters if you’re a Webster resident who is tired of drawing filthy water from your tap, and tired of the same attitude that allowed it to get this bad. It matters if you’re a Douglas resident that doesn’t want your local police officers stuck at a state park way too often – a state park that is so overcrowded that your family can’t even use it. It matters if you’re an Oxford resident concerned about the state of public schools, and the funding needed to improve our children’s education. It matters if you’re a Sutton resident, sick of the traffic bottleneck on Route 146 caused by the only remaining traffic light between Worcester and Rhode Island. It matters if you’re a resident of any of our district towns, concerned about local aid, welfare abuse, and improving our economy. I think I’m the best person to address these issues, and provide strong leadership that our district so badly needs. I’ll be accessible in all of the towns, and I’ll speak with anybody and everybody. If you can’t come to me, I’ll gladly go to you. Every vote matters. One week from today, make yours count. Take the time to VOTE in the primary election September 9th. http:/wheredoivotema
