It has been 35 yrs since my father died. His sudden death was a shock not only to our family but to the entire nation . His contribution to Democrasy was very well recognized by every section of the society . Zia was following the path of military dictatorship until Mashiur Rajman Jadu Mia turn him into a popular democratic leader . His death was a great loss for maintaing Democrasy in the country in the party which he named BNP by merging his own NAP . His death was so sudden and at such an important time that there was a suspicion of conspiracy behind his death . But he died at the peak of his political career after a successful achievement . The achievement of transforming military dictatorship following political dictatorship into a Democrasy which the new born country didnt see before . The BNP which has now turn into one of the most popular political party , intentionally denies his contribution for fear of demoting Zia s image as well as fear of failing to maintain family dynasty. Because a leader of such status as his and Zia wouldnt have allowed dynastic politics. While BAL an enemy of Democrasy with BAKSHAL mentality fears and hates him most ,people of BD appreciates and love his contribution . As a family man he is above everything we could idealize. We all miss you.
