It has been 5 months now. (the 24th.. I am little late :) ) I wanted to post the verses we read at the funeral. The 1st one I always loved growing up and the second one came to me when I was in a Bible study at church . Pastor Randy Blacketer did an awesome job and who knew those verses would actually tie into each other. I wish you could of heard the message it was perfect! Here are the verses: Mark 10:13-16 People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this , he was indignant. He said to them, Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these, Truly I tell you anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it. And he took the children in his arms , placed his hands on them and blessed them. John 9:1-5 As he went along he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him Rabbi who sinned ,this man or his parents, that he was born blind? Neither this man nor his parents sinned, said Jesus, but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him. As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming , when no one can work. While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
