It has been a difficult afternoon: Dawn Lennon a good friend passed today, Dawn a Store manager and had breast cancer, double mastectomy done, rounds of chemo and radiation, she worked Wednesday, she called Kim a friend that just graduated from Nursing school to come and spend the night with her, Dawn had a partner Michelle, i found out today they had been together 21 years, do you know her Partner for 21 could not make any funeral arrangements or call the funeral home for them to come, Because NC is that freaking crazy!!!! Dawn wanted to be cremated and nothing in the paper, only close friends at her memorial.I am just in shock I had seen Dawn last year at a house gathering for a holiday party of mutual friends. I am besides myself with the loss of Dawn and NC stupid freaking backward laws. Dawn another angel has risen to higher service, you will greatly missed by so so many!!!!
